| Project Description: |
The Alameda County Public Works Agency owns and maintains Palomares Road (Rd) in the Unincorporated Castro Valley. Due to heavy rains during the 2022-2023 winter season, a roadway embankment adjacent to 27523 Palomares Rd and at Mile Marker (MM) 1.65 collapsed. Subsequently, the southbound lane was closed to vehicular traffic due to the road failure and safety. |
